The following are the procedures for Room 9

Class begins @ 9:00 (Students should be prepared and sitting in their seats at this time
.)

Lunch: Lunch times are 12:05 and 12:10
.  

Snack Break

: Students are allowed to bring in a  healthy snack each day. Sugary treats will be saved for lunch.

Parties

: We have two parties: Halloween and Valentine's Day. Our room parents will be contacting you to request donations of time or food throughout the year.

Birthday Treats

: Students may bring in treats to share  to celebrate their birthday. If your child's birthday is in the summer, they may pick any day to celebrate.

Assignments Chart

: Students should record all assignments, test dates, project dates, and special activities every day on their assignment chart. In addition to the chart, homework is available by email and posted to this site. Please initial the chart daily.

Homework Policy

: If students forget to bring their homework to school, they will be "charged" Behavior Bucks and/or "party points" will be taken away. 


Evaluations

: There are four report cards sent home during the year. Midway through each grading period, interims reports are issued as necessary. Conferences are scheduled during November and  as needed. Please feel free to contact me at st_rmiller@smfcsd.org  if you would like to meet at any time during the year.



Dismissal Procedures: If  your child plans to go home a way other than customary, please send in a note to the office that morning.  Dismissal begins at 3:30.
