GRADING SCALE All Subjects 100-93=A 92-85=B 84-70=C 69-61=D 60-F

Rubrics are often used for Math, Written Expression and projects.

Here is a conversion from rubric points to percents: 4=100% 3.5=94% 3=88% 2.5=82% 2=73% 1.5=64% 1=55% 0.5=28%

One example of a Math Rubric:

  1. -
  • Strategy: An appropriate strategy is used effectively.
  • Organization: The response is highly organized and well documented.
  • Communication: Responses to all parts of the prompt are effective and appropriate.
  • Solution: A correct solution is presented.
  • Mathematics: Efficient, accurate use of mathematics is evident throughout.

  1. - A three is basically the same items; however, they are scaled down. For example, many of the same things are done, but not effectively.

  1. - A two would consist of a partially correct response.

  1. - A one is a strategy that is attempted or unclear.

     0.  - A zero is no attempt or off of the point.
