Our classes will be starting our "poor man's copyright" projects this week (week of November 16). We will apply knowledge and skills learned in class to compose an original song which will be documented and sent out in the mail. The project will take approximately 2-3 weeks. If a letter arrives in the mail marked "MUSIC PROJECT--DO NOT OPEN" please don't open it or the students will need to resend their project.

There is going to be a change starting this quarter in the participation grades. Students will receive a grade every other week which will be posted with their grades.

Please remember that PARTICIPATION counts for 50% of the quarterly grade! Several students have been spoken to regarding a smaller contribution to singing as well as classroom discussions

Our classes will be taking their first test on vocabulary very soon. Please look out for review packets as we review 2-3 days prior to any tests.
