KELLY BROOKS, Threes Lead Teacher

“Happiness is found along the way, not at the end of the Road.”

Kelly’s advice to all who love and care for children: Take time to enjoy the process of learning and watch your children as they grow and develop. They are fascinating beings and we need to treasure all the moments we have with them.

Kelly came to St. Francis preschool after nannying for two years and subbing for a year at St. Francis. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts, she spent one year as a marketing representative for a computer consulting company. In 1998 she returned to St. Francis as a permanent floater and then took a position as lead teacher in the threes. She also has taught four-year-olds. 

Kelly loves the threes and their great imaginations. She has fun watching them develop into creative learners.

Kelly has been married for seven years to her high school sweetheart. She has three two beautiful daughters, one who has graduated from St. Francis and the other is currently enrolled.

She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys vacations to the beach and summer time at the pool.
