8th Grade Standards
We are currently working on the standards that are highlighted below. Please scroll down to see notes for differentiated instruction.
Special Note: The Business and Computer Science standards are different for each grade level. If you have never attended this class - your focus will be on standards that you missed in 6th and 7th grade. In addition to the standards hightlighted below, we are reviewing the basics of MS Word - a 7th grade standard.

Students will reinforce keyboarding techniques.

The student will demonstrate an understanding of personal finance.
Differentiated Instruction:
Students will be allowed to progress through typing lessons ahead of the class.
Students will be allowed more time to complete typing lessons.
Students will be allowed more time for writing assignments.
Students exceeding standard requirements will be allowed to complete special projects.
Students will be provided extra assistance with any software, as needed.
