CLASS EXPECTATIONS

Course Expectations » Class Expectations

For success in this course, please keep the following in mind:

·        You are responsible for having all necessary materials in class on a daily basis, including paper, pencils, calculator, and instructional materials. Please keep in mind that you are expected to keep and have access to old homework assignments, quizzes, tests, and other handouts.

·        You are responsible for knowing and following the school guidelines as they are listed in your student handbook, including absence and tardy policies, policies on electronics, and the dress code. Remember that no food or drinks, other than a water bottle, are permitted in class.

·        This class is dependent on classroom participation and work. You must be in class every day. Your grade will be negatively affected by poor attendance (excused or unexcused).

·        In this class, remember your Palmer PRIDE, or Palmer Respects Integrity, Dedication, and Excellence. Use these ideals to guide your decisions and behavior.

·        You should expect me to be in contact with your parents on a regular basis. This is not a punishment, and usually does not mean that you have done anything wrong.
