Mr. Jeremy Koselak koseljj@d11.org 328-5018 About Integrated Algebra & Geometry 1,2 Integrated Algebra & Geometry 1,2 is a standards aligned course designed to go from the broad topic of functions down to the specific aspects of linear functions and then expose students to other predictable functional relationships including area, volume, Pythagorean Theorem, and probability. Throughout the course students are taught to work with multiple representations of functional relationships using real-life data so that the course is relevant to the students and teaches them to be better thinkers and problem solvers. About Math Tutorial 1,2 Math Tutorial 1,2 is a support class for Integrated Algebra & Geometry 1,2 that has been designed to match the content taught in Integrated and remediate prerequisite skills. The specific goals of this course are to: Strengthen 9th grade students’ mastery of prerequisite concepts, skills and processes to proficiency rates of at least 80% Increase Tutorial student success rate so that each Tutorial student earns a “C” or higher in Integrated Algebra with Geometry 1 & 2 Improve each students’ 9th grade math CSAP score as compared to their 8th grade CSAP math score Math tutorial may be still available to support your student if he or she is not yet enrolled.
