Seniors Senior Directions

SENIOR DIRECTIONS

Every year, the senior section is the first part of the yearbook that everyone turns to.  This is our year!  To make the senior section as memorable as possible, it is important that you follow ALL directions given to you by the Yearbook staff.  Thanks… enjoy!

Your Senior Page:

  1. Your first decision is what type of page you want.  We offer three options: preset, custom, and self.  A preset page is a pre-designed template that we will place your pictures into.  For this option you can choose from any of the designs on Ms. Shannon’s website under seniors. You can select your font, put thin borders around your pictures, and/or include a background for you page.  The next option we offer is custom.  For a custom page, you will be assigned a yearbook staff member who will work one-one-one with you to design your page.  Your final option is a self-design.  Self-design pages must be submitted as a JPEG file on CD.
  2. Choosing your pictures is the next big step in preparing your senior page.  Regardless of what option you have chosen, it is imperative that ALL of your pictures are appropriate.  We do not find it humorous when seniors attempt to submit inappropriate photos. We will simply place a blank box in place of the declined photo.  With regard to photo submission, all photos must be submitted digitally.  Any hard copy photos you would like to include can be scanned onto a photo CD at Walgreens or CVS.  We also ask that if you have chosen the preset option that you name your files with your first initial, last name, and the box number in which you wish your picture to be placed (FLAST 2).  Please make sure your selections make sense (i.e. don’t place a horizontal picture in a vertical box… It will not work).  Images will be printed in the quality provided.  If a picture appears blurry and you are concerned about how it will print, do not submit the picture. All pictures must be turned in with your order form or you will not receive a senior page.  No refunds and no exceptions.
  3. Payment and picture CD MUST be submitted in an envelope with the senior page order form attached to the front.  If you are buying a senior page, you should NOT buy a yearbook.  ** The price of a book is included in the price of your page.

Baby, Casual, Quotes, Activities:

  1. Please submit photos on a separate disk from your senior page pictures.  Label both CDs appropriately.  The same guidelines apply to casual pictures as your senior page pictures.  If you fail to submit information OR submit an inappropriate photo, you will not be included in this section of the yearbook.
  2. Your quotes and activities MUST be typed.
  3. Please submit baby and casual pictures, quotes, and activities separately from your senior page information in an envelope and attach the cover sheet provided (i.e. BABY, CASUAL, QUOTES, ACTIVITIES sheet attached to the front with picture CD, quotes, and activities enclosed).
