Grading Policy

Grading

·        Homework will be checked daily for completeness.  To receive credit all work must be shown and every problem must be attempted. NO EXCEPTIONS.

·        There will be a homework sheet that will be checked on the day of every test.  Any homework that was not completed may be turned in for partial credit. 

·        There will be a quiz at least once a week and an online quiz once a chapter.

·        Tests will be at the end of each chapter.

·        Quarter Grades are determined as follows:

-         20 % Homework and Participation

-         30 % Quizzes

-         50 % Tests

·        Semester Grades are calculated the following way:

-         40 % is your 1^st Quarter Grade

-         40 % is your 2^nd Quarter Grade

-         20 % is your Final Exam Grade
