Rules and Expectations 2008-2009

Office Hours – 7:00 – 7:30 Tuesday and Wednesday or by appointment

You are Expected to:

·        Be in your seat when the bell rings.

·        Come to class prepared by bringing the following EVERYDAY:

- Pencil                   - Book                         - Calculator

- Notebook            - Daily Planner  - Homework   

·        Use the time given to you for homework

-         If you choose not to be productive with your time, you will be given a zero for that assignment.

·        Be respectful to others

·        Ask questions if you do not understand something.

-         If you need extra help I will always make myself available.

Classroom Policies:

·        All Lincoln-Way North rules found in the Parent-Student handbooks are applied to this class

·        You are to remain seated during class unless otherwise instructed by the teacher.  This includes dismissal and sharpening your pencil.

·        Cheating is unacceptable and not tolerated.  If you are caught cheating, it will result in a zero for that assignment / quiz / test.

·        You will be given the same number of days you are absent plus one day to complete any missed work.  It is your responsibility to find out about classroom activities you have missed and schedule a time to make up a quiz or test.  If you are absent the day of an announced quiz or test then you will take the quiz or test the day you return.

·        All work that is handed in must be done in pencil.

·        Any homework not completed on time may be done by the end of the chapter and submitted with your portfolio for partial credit.
