    Swimmers, Divers, and Polo players are not allowed in the office or snack shop during practices or meet/games. They must sit with their teammates in Prestwick’s designated spot for all meets to alleviate the time finding swimmers for their events. If our coaches can not find a swimmer they will be taken out of their event.

    A Picture Party for the Swim/Dive/Polo Team members will be held on June 23 @ 4:00pm. The party is at the pool and we ask the children to please wear their team suit for the photos. Team pictures will be taken. The snack shop will have food set up for families that make reservations in advance.

    Our Awards Banquet will be held on Sunday, July 18th at Prestwick Country Club. At the banquet the children will be given their ribbons, trophies, team pictures, and miscellaneous awards. The swim and dive banquet will once again be separate from the other Junior Sports this year because of the large number of participants. We encourage families to attend the banquet to recognize our swimmers and divers and their tremendous effort throughout the season. Reservations must be made in advance through the club.

    We will have the same team suits as last year. Everyone will be asked to have a team suit. If you are new to the program or need a new suit please order one. There will be a sizing kit available on sign-up night on April 18th, if you do not know the sizes.

    We ask that all the parents sign up to be a timer at least one meet. I will take volunteers first, but if we cannot fill all the spots then I shall assign parents a time and have it posted at the first practice. For the Championship meet only the three fastest swimmers in each event for each age group/gender will swim. Therefore it is possible that every child will not swim in the Championship Meet. There is not a widther event at the Championship meet.

    If a swimmer is not swimming in the Championship Meet their season officially ends on 7/9 and do not need to attend practice after that.

    Swimmers, Divers and Polo players are expected to wear a sport swimsuit, caps if necessary, and swimmers should bring a pair of goggles. Also everyone should bring their own towel because they will not be provided.

    There will be a new parent orientation in the pool house on Tuesday June 8 @ 9:00am and Wednesday June 9th @ 10:00am. You only need attend one. I will be able to answer any other questions you have there.
