Behavior

Expectations:
· The students will raise their hands before speaking.

Be polite and respectful of others. 

Be respectful of other people's property.

Always walk silently in the halls.

Always do their best!

Consequences:
The card system is used in the third grade classroom.

· Pink Card: good behavior

· Orange Card: warning

  Green: miss ½ of recess

· Blue Card: miss all of recess

· Yellow Card: Mrs. Sharp calls home that night

Behavior is reported each week in the Friday Folder. 

Homework
 
Expectations:

Students will write down assignments after each subject. We will review these assignments at the end of each day.The students will be reminded of what they need to bring home. Mrs. Heinske and I will carefully monitor all missing assignments. We will work with your child to eliminate any problems, or head off potential problems with homework. All missing assignments are recorded in the Friday Folder.

Consequences:

If problems persist, a conference will be set up with a parent, the student and the teacher in attendance.
· The student may have to have his assignment notebook signed by both the teacher and his parent on a daily basis.
· If problems still continue, Mrs. Moss will be informed and will assist in the resolution of the problem.
 

Weekly Reports

Every Friday the student will bring home a “Friday Folder” in which all incomplete assignments will be listed and behavior reported. Parents sign the report and tests each week. Please look this over carefully.
