Founders of the Children's Rainforest
Students read an expository text about students from Sweden who raised money to purchase a part of the Amazonian Rainforest in order to protect it. They conducted online research about animals and plants in the rainforest presenting their animal to the class.

BUY the rainforest?
Students were very surprized that you can actually purchase a small portion of a Rainforest to help preserve it. I was too!
