What a great way to start off a year! 

The Archaeology Dig
The purpose of this project was to offer students the ability to see beyond the classroom in order to understand history better.  The standards incorporated in this lesson include identifying the job characteristics of an archaeologist, and historians.  Students were also tasked with identifying types of artifacts.
