Keep Your Eyes On the Prize!

Students, you have remained focused and now because of your efforts, you are moving on to the 7th grade.

I hope that you will take the time this summer to READ / that's right - drop everything and read something!

Here are some suggestions:

  • Comic Books

  • Magazines
  • Maps (help parents when traveling this summer)

  • Short stories

  • Internet short stories

  • Any book you choose to read / especially while you are on vacation.

Parents, I am very proud to have been your child’s teacher for the 2007-08 school year.

  • It was fun working with grammar and finding tips to assist your child in attaining good study skills.
  • Ask them and they will tell you that they have learned a lot this year. Examples: parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation and most of all how to WRITE a clear and concise paragraph, short story and even reading a book.  J

I am hoping that your child has become WILD ABOUT ENGLISH and will remain committed to reading, writing and speaking properly, which are skills that will enhance their lives forever!

Remember that it takes everyone working together to ensure that our children work to his/her fullest potential academically, emotionally and physically.

Have A Super Summer!
