Let's remain focused on preparing for our TCAPS. Here are a few tips that I want to share with you.

Tips such as:

1. Please have plenty of school supplies such as paper and pencils.

2. Please get plenty of rest.

3. Please come to have fun and LEARN!

So far this year, we have worked through some extensive grammar activities.

To prepare you for Mrs. Mack's TCAP Boot Camp, there are two sample powerpoints now available on this website.  Go to my assignments page and look for the powerpoint bootcamps!!! (Let me know if you find it - and how well you did on the powerpoints.

Beginning March 1, I will have our TCAP Boot Camp set up in the room.  Please review the slide shows link to see pictures of the boot camp. 

Parents, I am very proud to be your child’s teacher for the 2007-08 school year.

• We are continuing to work with grammar and find tips to assist your child in attaining good study skills.
• We are continuing to learn all about the parts of speech, sentence structure, punctuation and most of all how to WRITE a clear and concise paragraph, story or even a book J
• And we are still exploring books, magazines, articles, comics, and many other types of reading materials from different genres.

I am hoping that your child will be WILD ABOUT ENGLISH and will remain committed to reading, writing and speaking properly, which are skills that will enhance their lives forever!
