Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA) The Integrated Performance Assessment (IPA) is an instrument that measures student learning beyond paper and pencil tests. It requires that students demonstrate practical knowledge of the vocabulary and grammatical principles taught and reinforced every day in Spanish II. IPA's usually occur at the conclusion of major units but could occur after students complete any body of knowledge that merits this reinforcement technique. All IPA's carry the weight of major tests. IPA I: Conversaciones con Amigos With the partner you selected, create a conversation using the grammar, terms, and expressions taught throughout the 1st Quarter. Practice your conversation several times and be prepared to present it in class without the aide of notes or prepared texts. Your conversdation must last at least one minute. START DATE:Monday, NOVEMBER 3!!!!!!!!! Assessment Criteria: (How I will grade your performance.) I will employ a rubric to grade all IPA's. You will find my rubric in the 'My Forms' section located on this website's sidebar. You and your partner will receive separate scores for your performance. DO NOT DELAY!! Practice with your partner often and well.
