First Quarter Extra Credit:

Find two newspaper or journal articles relevant to mathematics or math education (articles must have been published within the last six months).  For each article write a minimum one and a half page paper that meets the following requirements:

Your paper should include a brief (no more than three-quarters of a page) summary of the article, followed by your reflection and opinion on the article.  Papers must be double-spaced with one-inch margins, 12pt. Times New Roman font.  The articles you've used must be attached. 

All requirements must be met in order to receive any credit.  All papers must be submitted no later than November 5th.

Remember that you are ineligible to submit an extra credit assignment if you have any missing homework assignments, tests or quizzes.
