El propósito de este curso es de desarrollar, mantener y mejorar el idioma utilizado por aquellos estudiantes cuya lengua vernácula es el español. Se lo logrará por medio de reforzar y añadir destrezas en lo auditivo, expresivo, la lectura, escritura, sin olvidar incluír las bases o fundamentos de la gramática del español. Este curso reflejará los valores culturales del idioma y la sociedad en general. También ayudará a los estudiantes a adquirir una mejor compresión de su propio idioma.
The purpose of this course is to enable students whose native language is Spanish, to develop, maintain, and enhance proficiency in their home language by reinforcing and acquiring skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, including the fundamentals of Spanish grammar. The course will also reflect the cultural values of Spanish language and societies. The course will help students gain a better understanding of the nature of their own language.
