OIA HIGH SCHOOL Mandatory Volunteerism
Please be advised of the following requirement for your child to graduate from Oregon Islamic Academy (OIA):
In order to obtain OIA's High School Diploma, your child needs to complete the 30-credit requirement in the designated subject areas, AND 60 hours of mandatory volunteer work at MET, a local library, a recreation center, a hospital, or where needed in the community.
Please inform the MET office of all volunteer work performed by your child during their high school years. A record of such volunteer work will be tracked in their student file and kept as part of their OIA student record.
