Tylenol only can be given to students no earlier than 10:00 am and no later than 2:30 pm with a signed parental/guardian permission -only if the student has a documented fever of 100.2 or greater.

Prescription Medication.  Parents are encouraged to schedule the administration of medication in such a manner that medication required at school be kept to a minimum.  If a medication must be given, there must be a completed request which states the date, time, dose, and the name of student and the request must be signed by the parent/guardian.  All medication brought from home, prescription or nonprescription, must be in it's original container and properly labeled in English.  A properly labeled prescription med is one with the pharmacy label stating the student's name, name of med, dosage to be administered, doctor's name and the date the prescription was filled.  Non-prescription medication must be in it's original container labeled with the student's name by parent/guardian.

Injections, IV's, Other forms of Medication can be given under special circumstances, on an individual basis.  Arrangements need to be made with the Health Coordinator.
