Dear Parents of Incoming Three-Year-Old Preschoolers,
I am delighted to introduce myself to you as your child’s three year old preschool teacher! My name is Mrs. Nancy Shields. I am very grateful and excited to be at St. Louis School and I look forward to making your child’s first school experience positive and memorable.
Thursday, September 8th: Parent Information Meeting (Parents ONLY Please)
Parents of Morning Preschoolers meet at 10:00am
The meeting will take place in the Preschool Classroom in the Manse Building.

Tuesday, September 13th: First day of classes.
~Small groups of children attend. Parents welcome to stay! (Bring your camera!)
AM Class: 9:00-10:00 Last name beginning with A-He
10:30-11:30 Last name beginning with Ho-Re
Thursday, September 15th: ~Small groups of children attend without parents.
Same time schedule as above.
Tuesday, September 20th: ~Entire class attends for regular class session.
AM Class: Drop off time- 8:40 to8:50
Pick up time - 11:15 to 11:25
School Supply List:
All children please bring:
~One (1) box Crayola Classic Washable Markers (8 Count)
~Two (2) .77 oz. or larger Elmer’s School Glue Sticks
Only AM children, please bring:
~One (1) box GALLON size zip-lock bags (15 count)
~One (1) box 5oz. cups (100 count) (5 oz.)
~One roll of paper towels
~One roll Scotch tape
~One package of flushable bathroom wipes
Please bring supplies with you to the Parent Information Meeting on September 8th!
“What should I bring to school (along with my child) on Tuesday, September 13th?”
~Regular “school size” backpack or tote bag LABELED with your child’s name on the inside!
~A full change of clothing inside a zip lock type bag LABELED with your child’s name. This will remain in the backpack throughout the school year.
~TWO photographs of your child taken during the summer. Please place them in an envelope LABELED with your child’s name and “Summer Photos”. We will use these photos to help all of us become better acquainted with our preschool friends!
