Review Letter packets be sure your child tells you the "whole story" Ex: "Aa-apple-/a/" The children have been introduced to the following letters: Aa, Bb, Cc, Ff, Ii, Mm, Nn, Rr, and Tt. They should know that Aa and ii are vowels and be able to tell you their two sounds. Sight words so far are: a, I, see, can, we, and, what, and, little. Practice counting to 20. Students should recognize numbers 1-20. Practice coin identification and value. A parent suggested playing store as a great activity to learn monetary skills and have fun with your child. Practice telling time (ex, 5 o'clock and 6:30).
