Congratulations to Our Mock Trial Team!

Our team won back the title of mock trial champion by defeating Clarence High School in the final round of the Erie County Mock Trial Tournament on April 7, 2009. State Supreme Court Justice Paula L. Feroleto presided at the trial which took place in the ceremonial courtroom in the Erie County Courthouse.

The Erie County tournament began in early February with 38 high school teams. This year’s fictional case concerns a defamation claim brought by a high school principal against a former student editor of the school’s newspaper.
