The 4th, and final, quarter of 5th grade is upon us! We are preparing for the end of the school year. Getting ready for June exams and Seabreeze!!! The candy sale has come to an end. Thank you to all who sold candy!!
We are learning about the Civil War and Immigration in Social Studies. In Reading, we are working on Literature Circles. We have 5 Literature Circles going and each group is reading a different book. Please encourage your child to read for at least 20 minutes every night and discuss their Literature Circle book with you.
Please make sure to sign your child's planner every night. I have told them that this is their responsibility to remind you and if the planner is not signed the next day, they will sit out of recess. I am trying to foster responsibility in each of my students.
