Michaelanne Laurent named Nevada's Gatorade Player of the Year for Track and field
Kody Rock qualifies for the Junior Olympics in the 4x800m
Girls take 3rd place at 2009 State Championships.
Regionals finish with the girls' team taking 2nd and the boys team taking 12th.
State placers
Michaelanne Laurent: 1st in the 1600m and 3200m. 3rd in the 800m
Lauren Lucas: 7th in the 1600m and 3200m
Emily Kashka: 3rd in the Pole Vault
DeVone Riley: 6th in the 400m
4x800m relay took 5th - Lauren Lucas, Sam Swan, Jade-Lynn Kadian, & Alexis Tucker
4x400m relay took 7th - Sam Swan, Alexis Tucker, Sandie Heholt-Leeds, and Nia Moreno
Girls finish the season 6-0 in the SE division and 9-0 overall.
They are SE Division Champions!!
Boys finish 2-4 in the division and 4-5 overall, with three big wins at the end of the season. They handed Chaparral their only loss of the season!
In the Frosh/Soph Championship at Del Sol HS, the boys took 5th and the girls were the CHAMPIONS!!!!
