Mr. Bolken began his journey in the great state of Montana, where he resided until late summer of 2000. He began his teaching career in Lewisville, TX, home of the Fighting Farmers, which was a great school and allowed Mr. Bolken to go see the best football team ever, the Dallas Cowboys. In the summer of 2001, he received a call from a principal, Mr. Bay, who was opening a new school and was very excited about how great the school was going to be. Mr. Bolken came then to help open Coronado High School and the students, community, faculty, and administration have made this an excellent school.
Mr. Bolken has always loved science and wants to help students enjoy it too. He was motivated to teach science by his high school science teachers, Mr. Kologi the best science teacher he ever had, and Mr. Koffler. Other important teachers that helped to influence Mr. Bolken were Mr. Schmang, Mr. Musgrove, and of course Mr. & Mrs. Bolken
