Wear your field trip T-shirts and TENNIS SHOES. *Please send in your Boosterthon pledges this week! *Monday the 28th is Memorial Day. NO SCHOOL! *Next Friday is our Reading Celebration. Only students who have read 360 books will be allowed to participate. Math: Subtracting two three digit numbers
Reading : Nonfiction features Writing: Response to literature Skills: Vocabulary Spelling: WWW's Science: Pushes and pulls Health: Bully Lesson Social Studies: National Government The second grade reading book goal is 90 books per quarter which equates to 360 books per year. The books students read at school AND at home will count toward the reading goal for our end of the year Reading Celebration. Students school book logs will be counted as part of their reading grade each nine weeks. Please remember that homework has been uploaded onto our site, however students should not work ahead. All homework is due the day after it is assigned. Each week students will take a Spelling Test and a Basic Fact Math Drill. Students are responsible for studying their spelling words and basic Math Facts at home. If you notice a word is spelled incorrectly in your student’s agenda PLEASE do not let them study the incorrect spelling. We do check the agendas, but sometime an error will pass us by.
