We Love Volunteers!

Adult volunteers in our classroom would be greatly appreciated.  Please consider volunteering at least part of a day each week.  If you are unable to commit to one day a week then perhaps one day every other week or even once a month.  It allows the classroom and the school to run more efficiently.  We can use parents to assist in art projects, test sight words, work one-on-one with students, sort workbook pages, help during lunch periods in Haney Hall, supervise outdoor recess, and chaperone on field trips.

Reminder: All families are required as part of the Tuition Contract to volunteer ten (10) hours before the end of the 2011-2012 school year.

It is important that if you would like to volunteer for any activity at school the following forms must be completed and on file in the school office:

1.   Protecting God's Children Workshop - Click on VIRTUS Online and scroll down to Detroit, MI (Archdiocese) for a listing and to register for a Protecting God's Children Workshop.  You have six months to complete this program if you are new to the school.  This is mandatory for all Catholic Schools.

2.   I-CHAT - Criminal background check.  Must be updated every seven (7) years.

3.   Car Driver Information Form - If volunteering for chaperone to drive on field trips.  Please note that the minimum liability insurance coverage is $250,000/$500,000.
