Jim "Basketball" Jones
What a fabulous assembly! The kids had a lot of fun watching Jim "Basketball" Jones do tricks with basketballs and encouraging their classmates as they competed for prizes and participated in a few tricks of their own. More importantly we learned that many lessons. #1 We are not alone in the world and that when we see someone feeling lonely or needing a helping hand we should take action. #2 We listen with our eyes before our ears. So we should not react to what we see, but take the time to hear what is being said. #3 Everyone has trouble spots. We need to rely on our family and friends to help us succeed.
