We did Work!
As part of our simple machine unit, we are learning what the scientific definition of work is: Work is done when a force moves an object through a distance. We had to try to get a secret message out from under our science books without touching the book or paper message. We could use string, tape, ruler, pipe cleaners, plastic utensils, straws, or anything else we needed. We worked with our partner to come up with a plan and try it. It was a lot of fun to use our imaginations to solve the problem.
