Our Community Unit is part of a School-wide Community Theme. In this unit third graders will explore the answers to our essential questions, listed above, by studying our local community. We will learn about its essential components and use these essential components to build a unique classroom culture and community. Students will learn how to work together as a team to meet the needs of our classroom community. They will become responsible for their own actions and support and help others in our "community" both inside and outside of the classroom. |
