Adopt-a-Family

The SJH Student Council "adopted" a family at Christmas. Students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades brought non-perishable food as well as gifts for each member of the family. The students also used $50.00 of their funds to purchase a gift certificate from H.E.B. Since the identify of the family was kept confidential, the sponsors delivered the boxes and boxes of food and gifts to the family who was very happy and grateful. Sincere thanks is given to all those who generously donated to this very worthy cause.
