Please note that the weight of the grade for each assignment is given at the time of the assignment. For example, some essays may count as a daily grade, others a quiz grade, and others a test grade. Some assignments will always carry the same weight. For example, AR points always count as test grades.
Grades are updated on a regular basis so please check the parent portal often. If an assignment is turned in late, however, it is not always immediately graded with the grade book updated. If your child has a zero for an assignment and you want to see if it was turned in or not, please feel free to e-mail me and I'll be happy to check.
If you are not subscribed to the Parent Portal, please call Mrs. Cejka at 594-3131 to request a password. There is no charge for this service, and it is truly the best way to keep track of your child's grades in all of his or her classes.
