AR Deadlines 2009-2010 Friday, October 9 Friday, November 20 Friday, January 22 Thursday, March 4 Friday, April 23 Notes: - Students must earn 100 points in order to attend the AR reward trip.
- If students earn all 10 points for the January 22nd deadline by December 18th, then they will receive a 110 for their 4th six-week's AR grade. This should encourage students to read early so that they don't have to worry about AR during the holidays or while preparing for finals.
- Please note that all deadlines are not on a Friday this year. I changed one deadline because of the Stock Show.
- The specific guidelines for AR are prominently posted in my classroom and can also be found on by web site. It is critical for students to understand that deadlines are absolute, and that being absent on the day of an AR deadline does not allow the student extra time for testing. Therefore, students should plan ahead, read ahead and test ahead to avoid problems.
