The Easter Bunny The Easter Bunny's Vacation

We are teaming up with Mr. Tuitt's class in Paterson NJ to write a story about The Easter Bunny's Vacation. Mr. Tuitt teaches 2nd grade at the Paterson Elementary School No. 13.
Our class will begin the story on Tuesday March 5th, we will write 1 paragraph and then it will be their turn on Wednesday to add to the story. Since we began the story they will finish it on March 13th. I will post the story as it progresses.

I will post our part of the story in pink. Their part will be in purple. We hope everyone who reads our story will enjoy it.

Easter is always such a busy time for the Easter Bunny. He doesn't see his family much and his children are very sad. So to make up for this he decides to take them on a vacation after the holiday. Mrs. Bunny has always wanted to see Hawaii. So Mr. Bunny goes to a travel agent and gets tickets for an Hawaiian cruise.

Mr. Bunny bought five tickets for Mrs. Bunny, his three kids and himself. That Friday they got on the boat and set sail for Hawaii. The cruise took one week. They ate lots  of food, and played ping-pong, bowling, dominoes and cards. They sat around the pool and went dancing a lot.

They are all having a great time and then suddenly a big storm came. The lightening struck the boat and Mr. Bunny's children were scared! Mr.Bunny gathered up all of his family and then rushed back to his cabin.

The storm turned into a tornado and the ship crashed into an island. The ship was broken, and they were stuck. The people had to eat coconuts, apples, pears and bananas for a week. They found a house, but the ghosts scared them away!
Then some whales came to the island, and the people rode on the whales backs.

The whale said, "I will take you to Hawaii." Luckily Mr. Bunny had a compass. He pulled it out and then he said "We are headed in the right direction." The Bunny family shouted for joy! Then they saw a big ship. The whale swam to the ship.Mr. Bunny asked the captain if they could come aboard and be taken to Hawaii.

The captain said yes, and the family got on board. On the ship they saw people dancing, singing and having parties. Mr. Bunny's family joined them. Then they finally got to Hawaii. In Hawaii, they went to beaches, played volleyball, saw volcanoes, and ate lots of coconuts, pineapples and roast pig. They were really happy because it was a fun trip.
