| Teaching Reading Strategies is an important element in our reading instruction. Here is a site that explains each strategy and allows your child to practice them. I plan on using the Daily 5 and in this model students choose ways to improve their reading. One choice is Listen to Reading. We will use tapes to listen but we can also use sites on the internet. Raz. To get to our classses page you will need to type in Grade1Room 106. You will then see our class. Find your first name, click on to it.. your password is your last name. Find a book and then listen to it and then read it. If there is a quiz available take it. It will keep track of your progress.
