2008-2009 Projects 2008-2009 Projects

This page will hold all of the wonderful special projects we do this year. Some of the ones I did in the past will be repeated as well as adding some new and exciting ones this year. Make sure you keep checking back here to see what exciting things we are doing!

Our first project will be a Saint project. Students will be asked to learn about a saint of their choice. We make a class book from the information that they gather. The culmination of the activity will be a Saints Parade on October 31st. Here are some good sites that will help you decide who to choose.

Here's a great place to learn about the Saints for your Saints Project. Saints

Here is another good resource Kids N' Saints

This is another great site for information about Saints. Here you can search by feast days,  you can look for very popular saints, you can even search for saints that are patrons for careers.

This site has some writings from 3rd graders that they did when they had a saints project.
