What is the VIP Club?
The VIP Club is an idea that originated from Mrs. Renz "Mastery Club". VIP stands for Very Intelligent Pupils. The purpose of this club is to mentally challenge students to go above and beyond their regular learning experiences in the classroom.
How can you participate?
You are invited to participate in the VIP Club during free time, as a reward, when you finish your work early, or at home. Make sure you write your answer on a sheet of paper with your name on it so you can receive credit. Once in the VIP Club, all you have to do is choose a subject, then a topic challenge, learn everything you can about each topic challenge, come up with an answer, and record on a paper. Topic challenges do not have to be chosen in any particular order, just find a topic that interests you and learn away! Each topic challenge is worth one star and each gained star allows you to participate in one of five VIP Halls of Fame.
How do you earn stars?
It's simple! All you have to do is drop off your answer sheet in the VIP Club inbox located in the classroom. Ms. Rademacher will then go over your answers at the end of the day and record the total number of stars gained on the VIP chart. Your name will then be placed into one of the VIP Halls of Fame depending on how many stars you have been awarded. Once you earn one star, your name will be placed in The Bronze VIP Hall of Fame. You can continue to complete other challenges in order to work your way up to The Diamond VIP Hall of Fame.
| VIP Halls of Fame | Number of Stars Awarded |
| Bronze | 1-15 stars |
| Silver | 16-25 stars |
| Gold | 26-45 stars |
| Platinum | 46-65 stars |
| Diamond | 66-84 stars |
What happens after you become a Diamond VIP?
Once you become a Diamond VIP and reach a star award level of 84 (maximum), you will have the special privilege of conducting research and developing new questions to be added to the VIP Club.
Learning never ends!
Again, Thank you to Mrs. Renz from Redmond, Oregon for this sensational idea!
