Spelling Words

Each week the students glue a colored sheet into their black and white notebooks with the spelling words on it.  I also keep them posted here on the Spelling Page.  You will only be able to see this weeks spelling list so that it is less confusing.

The students are responsible for correctly spelling all the words on the weekly list.  The bonus word is worth 2 extra points.  We do go over the words in class, but it is not enough practice for most students.  They should also practice them at home!

I also often use the "My Puzzles" section of the website for extra practice.  Spelling and Sight Word word searches are often on there.  Your child can practice as many times as they want because the word search resets and it will be different each time.
