Discipline Plan for 1-2

I use an individual behavior system called "Friday Fun Day".  For more information on this plan, please see our "Friday Fun Day" page.  We are also a part of the school-wide Progressive Discipline plan.  "Friday Fun Day" follows and reinforces all the school rules and allows the children a "reward" time for making these good choices on a daily basis.

We also have 5 classroom rules in effect.  They are:

1. Follow directions quickly.
2. Raise your hand and wait for your turn to speak.
3. Raise your hand for permission to move around the room.
4. Make smart choices.
5. Make your dear teacher happy.

Each rule has an action that goes with it.  I have adapted it from the Whole Brain Teaching website.  Ask your child to show you the action for each rule.
