Announcements Homework

Please be aware of the grade scale for my science class:

Unit Test =60%

pop quizzes & classwork=20%

announced quizzes & projects=20%

I hope this helps to explain your child's grade on his/her report card.

Students are to read over their science notes every night and prepare for a pop quiz the next day.  Students should understand the notes and be able to apply their knowledge to higher order thinking questions.  Please do not memorize the notes.  I give a minimum of 2-3 pop quizzes per week.  This helps the student prepare for larger unit test given at a later date.
