Dear Parents,

Welcome to Room 11's website!  I am a firm believer that strong parent-teacher communication is essential in order to maximize student learning.  With that in mind, it is my hope that this website will help you communicate with me.  If you ever have a question, concern, or something you would like to share with me, please feel free to use the e-mail link located at the top of the site.  I try to check my e-mail multiple times each day and make it a priority to be prompt in responding to messages.  

In addition to providing another method of communication, another one of my goals for this website is to keep you up-to-date on what we are learning in our classroom.  Each week, your students' spelling words will be posted, and a listing of weekly homework assignments can be found on the Homework page.  In order to give you an idea of what's to come; important dates will be constantly updated on the Calendar of Events page.       

Since material published to the Internet can be seen by the world, parent permission must be obtained before I can display children's work on this site.  For more details on exactly how student work will be displayed, please view our classroom's internet release file.
