Task - Create a presentation that tells the story of King Tut and the story of Ancient Egypt. How does King Tut's life compare to your life today? How does life in Ancient Egypt compare to life today? Use a graphic organizer to plan your thoughts before you start your research. Click here for examples of graphic organizers.
Information Seeking Strategies - Please use the websites provided by me, an encyclopedia, and your class notes.
Locate and Access - Click on the following websites. Use the World Book Encyclopedia or the New Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia. Both encyclopedias are located behind the check-out desk.
Use your class notes.
Use Information - Read and take notes from all sources. Make sure you write down when and where you obtained your information. You will be creating a bibliography using MLA citation style. Use Noodletools to help you with correct MLA citation.
Synthesis -Put all you information together and start to make your presentation.
Evaluation -When you have completed your project, you will receive an evaluation rubric. Complete the evaluation rubric and be prepared to discuss the following questions:
- What did you learn from working on this webquest?
- Did you do your best work on this presentation?
- Did you work well with your partner?
- Is there something you could do better on your next presentation?
- What was your favorite part of this presentation?
