Your task is to research and find information about the president you have been assigned. 

Use the following Internet Sites, Encyclopedia, and completed Presidents Database resources to collect information about the president you have been assigned:

• Internet Public Library – IPL Potus
• White House - Presidents
• School Database
• President's Database
• World Book Encyclopedia – located in Programs, Grades 7 & 8

Slide Suggestions:

Slide 1

Title slide should include the name of your President and the number of his presidency.   The sub-title should be:  By:  Your Name.

Slide 2

When was he born, when did he die, or is he still living?  What state did he come from?  Was he married and to whom?  Did he have any children and what were their names?

Slides 3

What was his occupation before becoming a President?  Did he have a nick-name?  What years did he serve as President? How many terms did he served.

Slide 4 & 5

List at least 3 accomplishments in office.

Slide 6

If you were President during this President’s term, would you have done anything differently?  Explain.

1     There must be a transition between each slide

2     Clipart/images must be used on at least 2 slides

3     At least 3 slides must be animated

4     Sound must be included in at least 3 slides
