Welcome to Meadow Brook School!

Meadow Brook School serves East Longmeadow students in preschool through second grade in a nurturing child centered environment.  At Meadow Brook, we feel that reaching children where they are functioning-academically, socially, emotionally, and physically-is critical to their development.  We offer a challenging curriculum that is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and the national standards as well as special subjects such as Physical Education, Art, and Music. Students are also scheduled for the Computer Lab and Library each week.  We also have a comprehensive special education program as well as gifted and talented education. Dr. Faith Wint, our teacher in the gifted and talented program, supports our  science curriculum and plans units of study with the department heads for grades one and two.

We currently have 4 sections of preschool, 4 sections of half day kindergarten, 5 sections of a tuition based full day kindergarten program, and 9 sections each of first and second grade.  All of our classes are taught by certified and highly qualified staff.  We also have two full time guidance counselors who assist students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
