Meet the Reading Specialists

Hello! My name is Ellen Pieciul (pronounced as pitchel).  I have been a Consulting Teacher of Reading since 1990.  East Longmeadow has been my home since 1978 and both of my children attended the East Longmeadow Schools.  I believe that reading is particularly important for your children as they start out on their road of life and the Reading Staff and I will do all that we can to make that road a successful one.  Since communication is important to achieving this goal, please feel free to contact me with your questions.

Hi, my name is Stacia Diaz and I am very excited to be a part of the East Longmeadow school community. My passion has always been reading/writing, and I believe in the importance of giving children quality early literacy support in order to ensure their lifelong achievement.  It is for these reasons that I chose to specialize in teaching young children how to read.
