Sixth Grade Suggested Supply List 2011-2012

• 1 ½ ” binder
• 1 ½ ” view binder (has a clear plastic cover to insert art work)
• 1 small zippered bag for supplies (no pencil boxes)
• 10-12 # 2  pencils (sharpened) and an extra eraser
• Pencil sharpener
• 1 box of colored pencils (sharpened)
• 2 red ink pens
• 1 black fine point Sharpie marker
• 1 black thick point Sharpie marker
• 2 different colored highlighters 
• 1 small pair of scissors
• 1 ruler (with both standard and metric measure)
• 1compass, protractor and calculator (with square root key) for math
• 1 package of college ruled notebook filler paper
• 1 package of ¼ inch graph paper
• 1 white dry erase board (no larger than 8”x12”) and 4 dry low odor dry erase markers
• 1 glue stick
• 3  folders with pockets ( for science, music, and class work)
• 3 hard cover 100 page composition books (math and writing journal)
• Student Planner (May be purchased at school)
•  intermediate level dictionary, thesaurus, atlas
