Dear Green Meadow Families!

     The end of the year is coming too quickly and with it I will be slipping into retirement. Many have asked me "How many days do you have left?" or "Are you counting the days?"  My answer is "No,because I still have so much to do!"  Just thinking about leaving makes me tear up . So, I prefer to take each day and count it as a blessing and hold on to it dearly.

      There are many people I would like to thank. However, if I begin naming names I know I will surely miss someone and then feel very badly later. So, I would rather thank everyone and anyone who has been a part of the Green Meadow community for the last 14 years. Your dedication to the school and your children is overwhelming.  You have worked tirelessly in concert with the staff to make this a great place for students to learn.  When the call went out for help, you were there. You have given hours of your time  building a playground, raising funds for a rockwall, a basketball court and stage curtains.  You set up for the carnival and tear it down and repeat the process for dances and sciene fairs and Winterfest. Your gardening skills are prevalent in the landscaping of the school making these grounds safe and beautiful.  I thank you for all of this and for your support of the programs we have tried to put together to make Green Meadow a safe, fun and educationally sound environment.

      It is amazing tome that anyone can be in any profession for 35 years.  But, here I am looking back and remembering the first day as if it were yesterday.  I came in smiling and I am leaving smiling. I am thankful for the time I have been able to work closely with your children. I believe they are ready for the next step in their educational journey no matter what it may be.  May you enjoy them as they grow. 

     It has been an honor and a privilege to be part of this community. I will always look at Green Meadow as a second family. Be well....
