1. Library: To reserve the Library AND/ OR the Library’s Computer Lab
2. Room #208’s Computer Lab

Please let me know if you would like the Library to prepare for your visit:

            *Research for Papers/ Projects: We encourage teachers to require at least 2 print resources.

            -Fill out a ‘Request for Library Assistance’ form (located near the sign-up clipboards) OR send me an email  

           with the following information:

                        -Name of Class

                        -Date of Library/ Computer Lab visit

                        -Subject terms/ keywords related to your lesson/ unit

                        -What would you like us to do…

                                    -Generate a report of related resources we have in print

                                    -Pull the related books and create a class display

                                    -Generate a list of credible/ related electronic resources

               **If you would like to request resources (books, DVD's, etc.), please do not hesitate to ask.

-If you would like me to co-teach to assist with technology or research, please ask.

-If you would like me to give a quick Library Orientation to your class, please ask.

-Please familiarize yourself with the Library Rules/ Regulations.

-Please assist the Librarian with monitoring your class.

Computer Lab Visits:

            -Students must have an Internet Contract on file in order to use the PC’s

            -When you bring your class to one of the Computer Labs, you are responsible for monitoring their Internet

            activity. This is done best by circulating the room and staying visible.

            -Please remind your students to Print Responsibly: See Library Rules/ Regulations #14

            -When planning a lesson/ unit that involves Internet research, please provide web addresses as guidance for your students. Random Internet searches will only lead to inaccurate information and time-consuming searches.
